The Complete Guide

Welcome to Tricky Squares! Find the odd-colored tile in the grid. This simple color puzzle is a daily brain workout to sharpen your pattern recognition and concentration.

How to Play

1. Look closely at the grid of colored tiles.
2. One tile is slightly different in color — lighter or darker.
3. Tap the tile that doesn’t match.
4. Move on to the next level as the difficulty increases with more tiles and trickier color shifts.

Goal

Spot and tap the one tile that has a slightly different color than the rest.

Game Tutorial

1. Start the Game

Tap "Play" from the main menu to begin your first level.

2. Observe the Grid

You'll see a group of squares — but one of them is a different shade.

3. Tap the Odd One

Find the single square with a different color and tap it.

4. Advance Through Levels

Each level increases in difficulty by:

• Adding more tiles
• Making the color differences more subtle
• Introducing time pressure (on higher levels)

5. Use Power-Ups (Optional)

• Shuffle: Mixes up the tiles.
• Hint: Highlights the odd tile briefly.
• Time: Adds more seconds to your timer.
• Bomb: Removes a wrong tile.
• Wild: Auto-solves the level.
• Lives: Extra chances to keep going.

6. Track Your Progress

Your current level and stats are shown at the top of the screen. Try to beat your high score!
